The Lianyungang-Yizheng crude oil pipeline, a key national oil and natural gas transport project, successfully commenced operations on its Lianyungang-Huai'an section on Thursday, PipeChina, the project developer, told the Global Times. The project can transport over 18 million tons of crude oil per year.
This marks the first 10-million-ton-level crude oil pipeline to be put into operation since the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period and is of significant importance for optimizing the country's energy supply structure in the central and eastern regions and improving the "nationwide one-network" layout of oil and gas infrastructure.
The Lianyungang-Huai'an section of the Lianyungang-Yizheng crude oil pipeline project has a total length of 143.8 kilometers and a designed annual transportation capacity of 18.5 million tons. Construction on the section began in October 2024 and was completed in June.
The pipeline has a diameter of 813 millimeters and a design pressure of 8.5 MPa. Up to 70,000 tons of crude can be pumped daily to Yizheng, a hub in East China, serving refineries in East China's Jiangsu Province and along the Yangtze River, strengthening energy supply security, the company said.
The commissioning of the new pipeline will further optimize the oil and natural gas pipeline network in the Yangtze River Delta region and the coordinated allocation over imported crude resource, PipeChina said.

。 文明是什么？近日，在滨江区新时代文明实践中心（以下简称“实践中心”），来自温州市泰顺县的考察团一行20余人，找到了另一种答案——不是挂在墙上的制度，而是一座城的独特气质，是嵌入每一天的生活方式。实践中心建于2021年、占地5000平方米的四层空间，依托系统化的运行机制、全龄段的功能阵地、品牌化的实践活动，涵盖理论宣讲、红色教育、文化传承、未成年人活动等多元场景，让可感、可触、可参与的新时代文明实践融入群众日常。而就在半个月前，滨江、泰顺两地在泰顺正式签订精神文明建设共建结对协议，这场跨越山海的实地探访，正是“文明之约”从纸面落到地面的一场生动实践。在实践中心，考察团还邂逅了一群特殊的“志愿者”——来自宇树科技的人形机器人“小滨”与机器狗“小新”化身“科技导游”，引领大家步入这座现代化的文明空间。步入中心广场，一场集市盛宴正热闹上演。集市既展示了编织灯笼、蓝印花布印染等非遗技艺，又提供了磨刀、缝补、义诊等便民服务。考察团从科技、文化与民生的多维角度，深刻感受到了滨江文明实践的独特魅力。考察团边走边看，详细了解实践中心“四级书记主抓、专业队伍赋能、数字平台管理、品牌活动联动”的一体化运作机制。如果说实践中心回答了“文明在哪”的问题，长河街道星光产业社区会客厅则展示了“文明如何服务人”。作为滨江首个实体运行的商务楼宇型产业社区，这里跳出传统政务大厅模式，立足“产城人”深度融合，把文明建设深度融入企业发展、人才服务和基层治理全过程。“我们这里见证了不少年轻人的爱情。”社区负责人向考察团介绍道，自2024年入选“滨江区甜蜜经济示范点位”以来，这里已累计服务3500余人次，举办相亲交友活动44场。
B | “把服务做到企业和年轻人的心坎上，文明的底色自然就亮了。”“这里是‘最美现象’的发源地。”长河街道闻涛社区工作人员介绍说，从“最美妈妈”吴菊萍到“最美司机”吴斌，许多“最美”故事曾从这里传遍全国。全国五四红旗团支部、浙江省文明单位、浙江省四星级“侨胞之家”……一连串荣誉背后，是“最美”精神在楼道里、在邻里间、在日常生活中的持续生长。一位考察团代表感慨：“滨江的文明既有科技温度、服务精度，也有人文厚度。”滨江与泰顺自2021年7月结对以来，在产业协作上已结出累累硕果，累计完成产业合作项目49个，完成固定资产投资32.65亿元。如今，这份山海情谊从产业协同延伸至文明共建，让“双向奔赴”的内涵更加丰富。
